Fremde Stadt

Crime/Society, Germany 1972

During a bank robbery in Düsseldorf, Philipp Kramer has taken two million marks. With the money in his luggage he travels to Munich, where his ex-wife is supposed to help him "launder" the millions: He wants to deposit the loot in smaller sums into her account. However, a pair of crooks, who have received a tip from the corrupt police chief, want to steal the money from Philipp. In addition, a sharp-witted inspector is hot on the bank robber's heels. This leads to a series of turbulent entanglements, at the end of which all those involved divide the fat loot among themselves without further ado.
